Alexa Lixfield, a former German model-turned-designer, has applied a heavy touch in the package design of her recently launched fragrance range. The simple, elegant glass flacons are topped with an unlikely material of contrast: cement-slab caps in varying shades of gray. The eponymous scents—Alexa Lixfeld 001, 002 and 003 ($115 each for 30ml), are packed in a felt pouch and secured in a paper box. 001, geared toward a Southern belle, holds scents of lily of the valley, jasmine, light herbs, white tea, musk; 002, meant for a man or woman, features sandalwood, cedar wood, patchouli and vetiver, fir, tonka bean, vanilla, and benzoin, jasmin, carrot seed oil; and 003 releases a can’t-get-enough blend of bergamot, rosemary, patchouli, pepper, vanilla and cinnamon.
